All rising 6th-8th graders are invited to join ryeX for a new retreat this year! This year middle school students will head to Southwind for The Great Escape from July 19-23, 2023. The trip will give students a time to enjoy fellowship with friends, while also experiencing awesome camp activities like giant swings, water slides, lakefront activities, open gym, and so much more.
DAILY SCHEDULE
MORNING
Mornings include time for quiet times, breakfast, and recreational activities.

AFTERNOON
Afternoons include lunch, recreation, free time, small groups, and afternoon session.

EVENING
The evening schedule will include dinner, a counselor meeting, and the evening sessions.
Lastly, get pumped for Aftermath, after each session at night!

WHAT TO BRING
In addition to casual hangout at camp clothes, there are a few specifics things you’ll want to have with you:
- Bed linens or sleeping bag
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Bathing suit and beach towel
- At least one pair long pants for some activities
- Spending money for snack bar and store
- Sweatshirt for cold evenings
- Close-toed shoes for some activities
- Messy outfit that can be thrown out
- Toiletries
- Medications (if necessary)
- Rain jacket
- Bath towels (2)
- Bible, pen, and notebook
